Sixty US Dollars Difference in Domestic Trips Expenditures between West Bank and Gaza
Results of domestic and outbound tourism survey, 2014, issued recently by Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, revealed that the difference in expenditures on local trips, between households from the West Bank and Gaza Strip stood at 60.1 US Dollars. The average household expenditures in a local trip stood at $61.2; as it reached $86.6 in the West Bank, compared to $26.5 in the Gaza Strip.
The survey reveals that 36.9% Palestinian households (one member at least) participated in domestic trips during 2014; 32.5% in the West Bank and 45.5% in Gaza Strip. At the same time, 63.1% of the Palestinian households have not participated in any local trip during 2014.
