Pecdar said in a press release that the project is worth 800 thousand dollars and the duration of implementation does not exceed ten months. The project consists of the construction, finishing and rehabilitation of a football stadium and an 8850 square meter stadium, including infrastructure, fences, a small runway and weeding.

The statement pointed out that this stadium is the first of its kind in terms of standards in the city of Jerusalem, where the standards will be subject to the conditions of FIFA.

Engineer Raed Anabtawi, project manager at Pecdar, said that the project aims at strengthening the steadfastness of our people in Jerusalem, developing the sports movement and increasing the opportunities for the personal resources of the Jerusalem clubs.

He pointed to the restrictions of work in Jerusalem due to the difficulty of obtaining permits and obstacles imposed by the occupation to prevent any development effort in the city, stressing on the efforts of pecdar and the Islamic Development Bank to increase the size and quality of projects in Jerusalem.

The project is considered one of the 15 projects and programs targeted at Jerusalem, funded by the Islamic Development Bank, with a total value of 6 million dollars to support various sectors, including: education sector, restoration of buildings, empowerment of women, youth and sports, as well as the cultural and social sector.
