Palestine and Turkmenistan Sign Five Cooperation Agreements in Several Fields

The two States, Palestine and Turkmenistan signed, today on Monday, five agreements to promote mutual cooperation in several areas, in the presence of the two presidents, Mahmoud Abbas, and Kurban guly Berdy muhamedof.

The Minister of foreign affairs, Riyad al-Malki, and the head of the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dovran Hojayev, signed a memorandum of understanding between the Palestinian Chamber of Commerce and the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Al-Malki also signed with the Turkmen Minister of Economy and Development Battier Bazarov, a memorandum of understanding about cooperation between the Palestinian Investment Encouragement Authority, and the Turkmen Ministry of Economy and Development.

Al-Maliki signed a third agreement with the Chairman of the State’s Tourism Committee, Djulukov, for cooperation between the Government of the State of Palestine and the Government of Turkmenistan in the field of tourism.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs signed with the Turkmen Minister of Education, Ajamirado, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the State of Palestine and the Government of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of high education.

On economic cooperation, al-Maliki and the Turkmen Minister of Industry Dovran Nursahidov, signed an agreement between the two governments.
