Establishment of a Fund for Palestinian Students with a 4,000 Euros Donation in Hungary

Hungary announced yesterday evening the establishment of a fund for the Palestinian student, opened with the donation of 4,000 euros.
This came after the Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" - Hungary region has organized a seminar under the banner of 'ways to support the educational process Palestinian students studying at Hungarian universities’, under the auspices of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Hungary, in cooperation with the General Union of Palestinian communities in Europe, the Commonwealth of the Palestinian community in Hungary, and the General Union of Palestine students-Hungary branch.
The seminar was held as part of the activities commemorating the martyrdom of the symbolic leader "Abu Ammar".
During the seminar, Ambassador Marie Antoinette Sadin, delivered a speech in the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Hungary, which addressed the anniversary of the national events that coincide with this month, and the ways and prospects for continuing cooperation with the Hungarian Government to receive more Palestinian students by scholarships in various Hungarian universities.
In a speech of the "Fateh" movement in Hungary, which outlined the founding role of the martyr symbol Abu Ammar of the first Palestinian Students Association, whose most of its members formed the revolutionary nucleus of Fateh’s breakthrough later, stressed on the role of students and their participation in defending the Palestinian revolution, and on Fateh and its leadership’s interest in education as the most important tool against the Israeli occupation.
In a speech of the General Union of Palestinian communities in Europe, Mazen Ramahi, president of Union addressed the need for the Palestinian students to continue to activate the national activities, along with their studies.
During the seminar, all forms of educational difficulties faced by the students in terms of the educational system and the need to adhere to the signed agreements particularly with the hosting Hungarian Government were discussed.
It is noteworthy that Hungary will host an annual 50 Palestinian students to study in various majors and degrees in Hungarian universities, and this year there are more than 120 Palestinian students in Hungary.
