The occupation authorities imposed a closure on the West Bank starting from midnight last night until midnight Monday - Tuesday, under the pretext of the Jewish Sukkot.
A statement issued by the spokesman of the Israeli army said that the closure came under instructions from the Israeli government, including the closure of crossing boarders with the Gaza Strip in the same period.
Israeli army claimed that some humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases would be allowed during the closure period to cross the borders, and that is after authorization from the Israeli government coordinator in the occupied territories.
