The Israeli army said a Palestinian was arrested yesterday evening at Za’tara checkpoint possessing $100 thousand shekels. According to the Israeli claims, the amount was allocated to Hamas for the implementation of resistance operations.

According to a source from the Israeli occupation army, Ma'ariv Hebrew newspaper said that the detainee is known to the Israelis as one of Hamas militants, and was on his way to transfer the funds from Nablus to Bethlehem (Israel's seventh channel claimed that the money was on the way to Nablus).

The Hebrew newspaper said that during the last three months, the Israeli occupation army has confiscated about 600 thousand shekels and that the money was confiscated from people connected to resistance organizations and families of those who participated in the implementation of operations who later on have received money from Hamas, according to the Israeli allegations.
