Global Finance magazine announced the 50 most influential, creative, and powerful people in the Middle Eastern business and financial communities. The general manager of the National Bank (TNB), Ahmad Hajhasan and the general manager of the Bank of Palestine, Hashim Shawa were chosen among the 50 most influential financial executives who lead banking, financial, and investment institutions, as well as airline companies.

The CEO of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Ala'a Eraiqat ranked first on the list. Moreover, the CEO and general manager of the Jordan Islamic Bank, Musa Shihadeh, was also chosen as one of the region’s 50 most influential executives.

The selections were made by Global Finance’s Editorial Review Board based on nominations and discussions with analysts and consultants and further independent research.
