UNRWA to Fund the Reconstruction of 2300 Demolished Houses
UNRWA spokesperson Adnan Abu Hasna said that UNRWA has secured funding for the reconstruction of 2300 houses that were destroyed during the last war on Gaza.
Local media sources reported that Abu Hasna called on the Gaza Strip’s municipalities to facilitate the issuance of the documents required for the reconstructions of the citizens’ destroyed houses.
He affirmed that UNRWA completed the reconstruction of around 42 houses that were fully destroyed during the last war on Gaza.
He also said, “UNRWA is prioritizing the reconstruction of houses that were majorly destroyed.” He stressed that efforts are ongoing to provide compensations within the upcoming few days.
