Settlers Steal Palestinian Land through Forged Deals
The investigation revealed that 14 out of the 15 land acquisition deals made by settlers that were examined by the reporter were found to be forged.
Settlers rely on a dummy organization called “Al-Watan” in forging the deals. Al Wattan operates under the Amana Company, which is affiliated with the Gush Emunim settlement organization, run by the hardliner Zeev Hever.
The reporter Raviv Drucker based his report on investigation conducted by the “Israeli police’s fraud squad.”
Despite this, the Israeli police did not arrest any of those involved in the forged deals who impersonate Palestinian individuals, some of whom are deceased, in order to transfer the properties of the Palestinians to the settlers.
