the Prime Minister entrusts the investment fund to establish a Fiber Optic Company

Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh announced that the Palestinian Investment Fund had been assigned to prepare for the establishment of a fiber optic company, "photovoltaic cells," and to develop the infrastructure with the latest technology, since some parts of the current network depend on copper lines, which will contribute to pushing the communications and information technology sector forward.
This came during his visit yesterday, Saturday, to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, where he was briefed on the many achievements it has made in developing the communications and information technology sector, by keeping pace with global development in this field to provide the best services to citizens.
The Prime Minister added that the communications and information technology sector is the title of Palestine’s progress towards forward movement to develop in informatics.
During his meeting with the Ministry's cadres, Shtayyeh asserted that "the crises we are experiencing are not made by our own hands, but rather imposed by the occupation on us, and we face and cross them as we have crossed many crises."
Shtayyeh was also briefed through the meeting on the most important achievements of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in addition to the most prominent obstacles it faces, stressing that all forms of support are provided to the ministry and its work to overcome all obstacles.
