This came after the Italian Consul General Giuseppe Fidel announced his country's pledge to provide 9 million euros to Palestine, today, Tuesday, at the Prime Minister's Office in Ramallah, for the Ministry of Social Development and the Public Prosecution, by supporting juvenile centers, and the Ministry of Labor to strengthen the ministry's role with regard to cooperatives, in the presence of a minister Finance Shukri Bishara, Minister of Labor Nasri Abu Jaish, Attorney General Akram Al-Khatib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development Dawoud Al-Deek, and Chairman of the Cooperative Labor Authority Yusef Al-Turk.

The Prime Minister added, "We thank Italy for this grant, and for us it is an important grant because it covers two aspects that constitute one of our priorities. The first priority is for the Ministry of Social Development as well as the Public Prosecution, to provide support to juvenile centers. This matter is for us very important, because juveniles are the future" It is very important that we take care of them and give every effort to enhance their capabilities."

Shtayyeh added: "The second part of the grant is to strengthen and institutionalize cooperatives in the Ministry of Labor and the Cooperative Work Authority, and cooperatives are very important for us, and they feed into the government's strategy related to the development of clusters, and Italy's experience with cooperatives is a great and important experience and I think we have the possibility to benefit from how cooperatives played a role in The production process, whether industrial or agricultural. "
