Government spokesman Ibrahim Melhem condemned the racist and inhuman behavior of the Israeli occupation authorities and Israeli employers in dealing with Palestinian workers.

Yesterday, Monday, the occupation authorities threw a Palestinian worker on the side of the road near the Beit Sera military checkpoint, in difficult health conditions, before informing him of his infection with the Corona virus.

Melhem called on the workers not to go to the workshops and factories of the occupation as they oppose a major health risk and not to accept such inhumane conditions in which Israeli authoroties and companies place them.

He added: We are working hard to educate our workers not to go to work inside Israel in these difficult circumstances, and not to throw themselves into these hotbeds and incubators for this epidemic, in order to preserve their safety, their families, and their community.

The government, in the framework of the preventive measures that it had taken to curb the spread of Corona, asked workers not to go to their workplaces in Israel, and gave them a deadline to arrange their overnight stays at their workplaces, and confirmed that starting on the morning of Sunday, March 22, 2020, it would be prohibited to enter or Exit of any of the workers only a month after its date.

Israel is help responsible to insure humanitarian conditions for workers who stay overnight in their workplaces.
