Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh, announced at the beginning of the Palestinian government session, today, Monday, a new infection with the Coronavirus for a citizen coming back from Poland, which brings the number of infected cases to 39.

The Prime minister confirmed that the Palestinian markets are starting to stabilize and that food stocks are available and sufficient for a long period. He also praised the measures taken by the Palestinian Monetary Authority and banks, such measures that would stimulate the national economy and provide liquidity to the citizen’s.

Shtayyeh also thanked the State of Kuwait for its support to Palestine with NIS 5.5 million as a contribution to fightnig the novel Coronavirus.
