The World Health Organization stressed the need to reinforce what it described as "preventive measures" to reduce the spread of Corona virus infection, especially in the Middle East, which according to the WHO classification is one of the most dangerous areas, due to the intensity of flights coming to it from China.

The organization estimated 11,953 confirmed cases of the virus, most of them in China.

She indicated at a press conference held by its regional office for the Eastern Mediterranean in Cairo, that the virus develops in about 20% of infected people, which leads to the death of two out of every hundred infected people, at a time when the number of infections is still not specified around the world.
