The Israeli occupation authorities announced, on Sunday morning, measures to prevent the entry of cement into the Gaza Strip, while in the West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces continued raids and search campaigns that included the arrest of a number of young men, as settler attacks increased in Hebron.
The Minister of Security, Naftali Bennett, decided to ban the entry of cement into the Gaza Strip and withdraw hundreds of permits from merchants. According to the decision, these measures will be started from Sunday morning.
Bennett instructed the so-called "coordinator of the government's actions in the occupied territories, Camille Abu Rokn, to stop immediately the entry of cement into the Strip, in addition to withdrawing the permits of 500 merchants, because of the continued firing of rockets several days ago, as he put it."
A few days ago, the Israeli Minister of Security issued a decision stopping the import of agricultural products from the Palestinian Authority areas into Israel.
In response to these occupation measures, the Palestinian Authority has informed Israel that it will stop importing goods from Israel.
