The Palestine Stock Exchange witnessed trading of about 72 thousand shares, with a total value of approximately 150,000 dollars, executed through 63 transactions.

The main index, Al-Quds Index, closed 0.05 percent down, recording 524.32 points, from the previous session's close.

The main index was affected by the decrease in the banking sector by 0.44 percent, insurance 0.24 percent, services 0.06 percent, industry 0.05 percent, while the investment index rose 0.28 percent.

During the session, the share of Palestine Development and Investment "PADICO" increased by 0.92 percent.

In contrast, the share of the National Carton Industry decreased by 4.21 percent, the National Insurance Group 3.33 percent, the Arab Islamic Bank 1.72 percent, the Union for Reconstruction and Investment 1.56 percent, the Palestinian Islamic Bank 1.03 percent.
