Palestinian companies participate in Halal Expo in Istanbul

Six Palestinian companies are participating in the seventh edition of the Halal Expo, the fifth World Halal Summit, of the OIC Member States, which opened to visitors on November 28 and will continue until tomorrow under the auspices of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The exhibition is organized by Discover Company for Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with the Islamic Center for Trade Development and the Institute of Standards and Standards of Islamic Countries and with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Commerce.
The Palestinian companies involved in the field of dates, Dead Sea products, Palestinian soap, essential oils, thyme, oil and pickles, are Qitaf for Agricultural Marketing and Marketing, Al Hathnawi Trading Company, Maya Cosmetics Factory Company, Lamico Trading Company and Saba Soap Manufacturing Company
About 400 local and foreign companies from 50 different countries, specializing in food, finance, tourism, cosmetics, health, packaging, chemistry and fashion, will participate in the exhibition.
The Minister of National Economy, Khaled Al-Esseily, during his visit to the Palestine Pavilion with the participation of the Palestinian Ambassador in Turkey, Faed Mustafa and Rana Abu Saib’a from the Palestinian Embassy in Turkey, stressed the importance of participating in this exhibition reflecting the competitiveness of Palestinian products, an important step in promoting national products to reach more international markets. .
Al-Esseily pointed to the group of international exhibitions organized by the ministry in cooperation with its partners in order to increase national exports and establish investment companies.
Al- Esseily said that efforts are being exerted to increase the share of the national product in the domestic and international markets and to diversify markets, in addition to encouraging direct importation of its important impact on the economy.
For his part, Chairman of the Qitaf Agricultural Investment and Marketing Company, Mu'in Shtayyeh, praised the attention paid by the Minister of National Economy, Khaled Al-Esseily, in supporting and promoting the national product in the world, and his personal presence at the exhibition accompanied by the Palestinian Ambassador.
He pointed out that the Palestinian product and through observations and observations of visitors to the Pavilion of Palestine proves that the national product is respected by the world, and this is reflected by the increasing demand for it from the countries of the world, where the market for imported Palestinian products expands.
Shtayyeh praised the Palestinian participation in Halal exhibition, and Qitaf products from the Palestinian dates that were displayed at the exhibition, which was impressed by visitors to the exhibition, which provides an important opportunity to market Palestinian products, pointing out that Qitaf is packing and exporting its products according to the Palestinian and international specifications and under the direct supervision of my ministry. Agriculture and the Palestinian National Economy.
For his part, the Palestinian Trade Center Paltrade Yousef Al-Lahham confirmed that participating in this exhibition comes as a continuation and continuation of the policy of Pal Trade in promoting and supporting the opening of markets to Palestinian products in the Arab, Islamic and international markets, and increase the volume of exports through participation in such exhibitions.
Al-Lahham pointed to the turnout of visitors to the Palestine Pavilion and many businessmen from different OIC countries, as well as visiting many media that covered the Palestinian participation.
