Launching of the second phase of the agricultural cluster plan projects in Qalqilya

Qalqilya Governorate and the Directorate of Agriculture of Qalqilya, on Sunday, launched the second phase of the projects clusters agricultural development plan in the province of Qalqilya, which was launched on the third of September this year, the value of 23 million dollars.
This came during a tour by the governorate and the Directorate of Agriculture and representatives of official and popular institutions, on the projects of agricultural clusters, and the tour included the towns and villages of Kafr Thulth, Sir, Kafr Qaddum, and Amatin in the province of Qalqilya.
Qalqilya Governor Rafe' Rawajbeh said that this tour sends a message to the brutal occupier that we will stick to the land we plant and reap its fruits until the end of the settlement and the declaration of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
He added that the work on the ground is a response to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's recent announcement that his country no longer considers Israeli settlements to be contrary to international law, and this is a practical and practical response to these racist statements that legitimize settlements.
He concluded by saying: "Settlement does not exist and illegal, and today we launch the second phase of these projects, near the settlements, and confirm our stability on the ground."
In turn, the Director General of the Directorate of Agriculture Qalqilya Ahmed Eid told "Wafa", that 500 dunums of agricultural land have been reclaimed, and the rehabilitation of another 600 dunums, and is currently working on the reclamation of 800 dunums and rehabilitation of another 700 dunums, while the construction of new roads with a length of 15 km.
Eid added that in the coming months, we will witness a new major irrigation project through the Islamic Development Bank. The aim is to support farmers' resilience and stabilize them on their land.
