Minister of Education Marwan Awartani on Sunday discussed with Chinese Ambassador to the State of Palestine Guo Wei several issues that serve education in Palestine and the mechanisms of utilizing the capabilities and expertise possessed by China in this context.

Awartani stressed the need to expand the horizons of partnership between the two countries, stressing the ministry's interest in exchanging educational experiences with China, and acquainted with the denominators that guarantee the service of common educational visions.

The minister praised China's support to Palestine, especially in the field of supplying schools with solar energy, and reinforcing this trend despite the obstacles imposed by the occupation, stressing that the ministry will make every effort to serve the educational sector.

For his part, Wei stressed his country's commitment to continue supporting Palestine in all fields, pointing out the importance of exchanging experiences through holding joint training courses, praising the developmental steps of the ministry to promote the education sector and encourage the demand for specialties needed by the labor market.
