In the governorate of Qalqilya, PM Mohammad Shtayyeh announced the launch of the first agricultural cluster; which is part of the Governments’ plan to promote national products and substitute imports and strengthen resilience on the ground.

Shtayyeh called for the renewal of the mandate of UNRWA and strengthening its financial and institutional role.

Regarding the financial crisis that the Palestinian Authority is going through, Shtayyeh said that the crisis is still ongoing and the PA still demands unclaimed clearing money that Israel still deducts a large part of. This money relates to the allowances of prisoners and families of martyrs.  

The PM also talked about the case of Israa Ghareeb, the deceased girl, and noted that investigations are still ongoing and a number of people were arrested and are being investigated. We are waiting for the lab results, the investigation results will be announced once they are completed.
