Minister of National Economy Khalid Al-Esseily and Palestinian Ambassador to Portugal Nabil Abu Znaid discussed mechanisms of maximizing national exports and enabling national products to reach Portuguese markets.

During the meeting held at the ministry's headquarters, they stressed the importance of forming a joint working committee between the Palestinian and Portuguese sides in the economic field and setting a joint work program that would enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, in addition to supporting the government's vision of disengagement from the Israeli occupation economy.

They pointed out the importance of activating trade missions between the Palestinian private sector and its Portuguese counterpart to explore investment opportunities and establish investment companies that benefit the economies of the two countries.
