Data from the Ministry of Finance and Planning showed that, since the beginning of February, the Israeli occupation has been holding about 2.8 billion shekels of compensation revenues.
The emergency budget indicated that the Palestinian government received only 1.3 billion shekels, from December of last year and January of this year.
The occupation authority passed a law in the Knesset to deduct the funds of the prisoners and the families of the martyrs of the compensation while the Palestinian leadership and the government confirms the refusal to receive the incomplete compensation funds and the disbursement of funds of prisoners and martyrs in full.
