Shtayyeh begins a 2-day visit to Jordan and meets Al-Razzaz

Palestinian PM Mohammed Shtayyeh arrived in Amman on Saturday for a two-day official visit to Jordan.
Shtayyeh met with his Jordanian counterpart Omar al-Razzaz at Prime Minister's residence, they aimed and discussed supporting cooperation and coordination in various fields.
The visit aims to develop partnership in various sectors and includes meeting with ministers of National Economy, Finance, Planning, Health and Transport as their concerned and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers.
On the other hand, the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to 230 million US dollars in 2017, of which 153 million were commodity imports from Jordan and 77 million were commodity exports to Jordan. The main imports from Jordan were (cement, water tanks and drums, telephones, mineral water, and electrical power). While the main Palestinian exports to Jordan were (building stones, scrap, sausage, medicinal herbs, and food products).
