The assistant minister for European Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Amal Jado, welcomed the Russian Ambassador in Palestine, Haidar Aghaneen, in the headquarters of the ministry in Ramallah on Wednesday on the occasion of the end of his duties as Ambassador of his country in the state of Palestine.

Dr. Jado showed her appreciation towards the efforts that Ambassador Aghaneen made in order to develop and maintain the bilateral relations between the two countries during the period of his presidency in the office of Representation of the Russian Federation.

Ambassador Aghaneen assured that Palestine was, and will stay, the issue of priority for him wherever he presides. He shared how happy he was to work in Palestine and that his last mission is to deliver a draft agreement to exempt the Palestinian passport holders from entering the Russian Federation in order to ease the communication with the Palestinian officials and to maintain the relationship between them and the Russians.
