France objects on deduction of Palestinian tax revenues

Last week, France objects on deduction of Palestinian tax revenues; it demands a full transfer of funds to the Palestinian Authority.
The Israeli Channel 12 posted last night that Netanyahu’s rejection of the French demand is causing a diplomatic tension between both sides. His rejection came through an official message that contains a very strong language.
The reason behind the French protest is the approval of the Israeli governments’ implementation of a law that would deduct more than 500 NIS from the Palestinian tax revenues; from the allowances and salaries that the PA pays the families of prisoners and martyrs.
The Israeli channel showed that Netanyahu’s response to the French’s requirement was through an official message that said: “Israel will keep working according to its own policies and according to what the Knesset laws state.”
It is said that the EU fully rejected the Israeli decision of deducting part of the Palestinian tax revenues; the one concerning the allowances of prisoners and martyrs families from the tax revenues, and that the EU will press in order to stop the implementation of this resolution; keeping in mind that the value of the monthly Palestinian tax revenues reaches $180 million USD.
