“Davos” Forum: Palestine focuses on political issues, money piracy, and investment

Mohammad Mustafa, the presidential advisor of Economic affairs, said: “during Palestine’s participation in the World Economic Forum in the Dead Sea, Palestine focused on three issues: political issues, money piracy and financial pressure on our people, and investment in Palestine.”
Mustafa explained, in an interview with “Voice of Palestine” on Sunday, that regarding the political issues; the President sent the one and only solution during his meeting, which is the two-state solution, and that everyone should stand by the headship in order to achieve this solution. Regarding our people’s money piracy, he indicated that the usage of financial pressure is one way to achieve denied political goals and that Israel should give back the Palestinian money immediately.
Mustafa assured, regarding investment in Palestine, that Palestine is open for investment in it with all the challenges that it faces. It will provide all the facilities needed to inspire investors in order to develop the Palestinian Economy.
The presidential advisor assured that Israel has to abide by the terms of the Paris Economic Protocol as agreed, until its cancellation is over.
Mustafa pointed out above that the investment prospect in Palestine depends on several things; the most important is making a high amount of possible job opportunities, investing in the infrastructure and in the main sectors, indicating that there were talks with International Institutions and the Word Bank on the sidelines of the Davos Forum about the need to provide guarantees that would encourage Arab and international investors to invest in Palestine.
Mustafa expressed his hope that all efforts during the next phase will focus on providing the necessary protection and guarantees to bring investors to Palestine.
