Munir Al-Jaghoub; the president of the Information office for mobilization and organization in the Fateh movement, congratulated the movement against Social Security (SS) for fulfilling its demand after the stages of peaceful protest.
Al-Jaghoub said, in a special cover for 'PECDAR’, that the problem regarding the Social Security Law was apparent from the first day of protests. But Fateh movement left the matter to the Palestinian president, government, and unions and federations representing these groups of protesters to study it. The people in the streets turned down all the initiatives and proposed solutions that sufficed 90% of the movements’ demands, but protests did not stop.
Turns out there were issues in the statements of officials; many of them do not comprehend people’s feelings and problems, but the issued numbers against the SS proved otherwise.
Al-Jaghoub praised the actions of Fateh which did not result in any breaking or insults and so on, stating that they were peaceful and prestigious. He added: “Fateh movement raised its head up high in this movement in order to fulfill its demands and its peaceful expression of demands; they taught us how to express our points of view in a correct way.”
On the other hand, Al-Jaghoub pointed out the importance of Social Security saying: “Social Security must be present; it’s a national demand that serves the public. The president left an open door for it to gain acceptance.”
He said that the delegates of unions and worker federations have to express the social class that they represent so that they can reach the desired effect.
