UNRWA’s Commissioner General announced that he decided to cancel the exceptional unpaid leave decision

Palestine Economy Portal | UNRWA pleaded in a press release its workers not to undertake any action that may lead to sending mixed messages to the donor community, and cause potential harm to the ability of the agency in collecting donations. This comes in a time where the agency managed to overcome the unprecedented financial crisis, and is working hard to achieve progress towards financial stability in the coming years.

The agency called on all concerned not to take any action that would increase the threat to UNRWA services to the refugees, or deprive them from these services.

The statement stressed that, “the demanded issues for workers do not require any influence on the course of the educational process in Palestine, or obstruct it, especially in the first school of day."
